Can I customize the look and feel of Events separately from the rest of the system?

*Note – This post refers to Connect Events pre-Connect 9.0.  The Connect Events module was significantly enhanced from Connect 9 onwards*

The look-and-feel changes that are initiated from the ‘Customization’ side in the ‘Administration’ tab are account-wide (login page, administration colors, meeting pod and menu colors).
The Changes made inside of a ‘Meeting Room’ itself are ‘Meeting Room’ specific (i.e. room background, uploaded logos, photos etc.  These can of course be driven by cloning a ‘Meeting Room’ from an existing ‘Template’.
An ‘Event’ (from ‘Connect Events’) allows you to change the logo associated with each event (speaker photo etc,) but the ‘Event Listing URL’ (that shows all upcoming events) will take branding from the overall ‘Customization’ aspect of Connect in the ‘Administration’ tab and that is again account-wide.
You can of course have the link to an ‘Event Registration Form’ under a button on your web site and in that case the look and feel is entirely up to you.

You can also embed the listing or other pages into another web page, as we do on our own web site (See Figure 3 below)
