Adobe Connect 9 is officially targeted for release ‘Calendar Q3 2012’
There is now a widget on the Adobe sites that will allow you to check the time when your ASP/Hosted Connect account will be upgraded:
You can check which cluster you are using for your account by following the instructions on the Blog Post below:
How do I find the cluster on which my Adobe Connect account resides?
The on-premise customers using Connect will be informed of the process to upgrade as soon as the new version is available
Can I pre-install the Meeting Add-in for Adobe Connect version 9?
You can install the new Meeting Add-in for Connect 9 and it will co-exist with your current meeting Add-in. The downloads are available from the link below:

The System Requirements for Connect 9 are at the link below along with a summary of the changes (by Ian Justin, please confirm details with Adobe directly or the Tech Specs link):
- Flash Player 10.3 or higher will be required to attend meetings in the browser
- Internet Explorer 6 will no longer be supported
- Adobe Connect 9 Add-in will not support Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). Leopard users will still be able to attend meetings in the browser
- No Adobe Connect 9 Add-in for Ubuntu 10.04 Linux. Users on Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat and OpenSUSE) will still be able to attend meetings in the browser. Plan is to have Add-in for Ubuntu Linux available in first service pack of Adobe Connect 9
