What does ‘Not Required’ denote in a Curriculum?


This message means specifically that “This item is not required because the Curriculum was completed before the item was added”

Meaning that the original Curriculum requirements were completed and then this item was added afterwards, which should not remove the completion criteria from the Learner.

Connect is behaving appropriately.

When the Curriculum was made and the additional requirements added, the message to the Training Manager would be below

So you should be aware of the consequences to best practices and existing learners.
I reproduced this on my account and below (Figure 1) you can see the added ‘Not Required’ item

I am still able to take the test though and it correctly displays my progress after that (Figure 2 below).
