Do you have some simple lobby countdown timers?

There are a number of lobby timers that can be used with Connect that are available from the Connect Extensions site.  These are very stylish and slick, but be aware that a .swf in the simplest form will not work on the Connect Mobile App.

For that reason I have a selection of countdown timers in FLV format.  These are very forgiving and they are very simple to use.  These timers also work perfectly on mobile devices.

You can look a the timers by streaming them from the links below, or download them using the second link.  Load the timers into your ‘Content’ or ‘Shared Content tab if you want to make them available to your users generally, or load them directly into a room if you want to be more selective.

You can also load them into a room template (‘My Templates’ or ‘Shared Templates’) if you want these to be populated into your rooms automatically upon creation.

To operate the timers, load them into a Share Pod in your room (you probably want to make the pod a little smaller than usual), move the movie scrubbing bar to the correct time-remaining and click the play icon…of course if your presentation is delayed, you can ‘adjust’ the timer as well.
