How do I upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Presenter?

At the time of writing this post, the latest Adobe Presenter version is v7.0.6

This version is necessary if you wish to use Adobe Presenter with Office 2010

You will want to do a few steps to incrementally upgrade to 7.0.6. First you go through the updates one at a time and then you will be at 7.0.5. At that point, choose help and updates on the presenter menu and it will prompt you to update to 7.0.6

Note – the last step may take a few minutes as the updater menu item may take time to appear

Note – keep in mind that Adobe Presenter 7.0.6 still ActionScript 2 (AS2). Adobe Presenter and Adobe Captivate 5 will not be compatible since Presenter does not support AS3 as of v7.0.  It is a fair *guess* to assume that Adobe Presenter will not be compatible with embedded Adobe Captivate files until Adobe Captivate v6.  There is no schedule for the compatibility upgrades that I am aware of at this time
